Najel Aleppo Soap Flakes, 750 g

Aleppo soap flakes, made to a traditional recipe, help to keep your home clean. Saponified olive oil has powerful cleaning properties, making it ideal for removing stubborn stains and cleaning laundry and the home. Their form is practical for everyday use: the flakes dissolve easily in hot water and can be used in the bathroom or as a base for homemade cleaning products. Thanks to their fine texture, they disperse evenly in water and leave no residue. In flake form, they gently clean all fabrics, even the most delicate ones (wool and silk). They are also perfect for household cleaning.

Usage:

• Liquid soap:
  • Bring 1 litre of water to the boil.
  • Remove the water from the heat and add 150 g of grated Aleppo soap.
  • Stir until the flakes have completely dissolved.
  • Leave the mixture to cool to room temperature.
  • Optional: For a fragrant touch, add a few drops of an essential oil of your choice and mix everything together well.
  • Pour the liquid soap into a soap dispenser or a pump bottle.
  • Use for washing laundry and hands, or for cleaning surfaces.
  • Shake the bottle gently before each use to mix the ingredients thoroughly.
• For a bath:
  • Run a hot bath.
  • Add about a handful of Aleppo soap shavings directly to the bathwater.
  • Stir the water so that the shavings dissolve completely.
  • Get into the bath and enjoy.
  • Afterwards, rinse your skin with clean water to remove any soap residue, then moisturise with a body lotion.
• To make 2 litres of washing-up liquid:
  • Stir 50 g of Aleppo soap flakes into 1 litre of hot water.
  • Wait until the mixture has cooled, then add 15 g of bicarbonate of soda and 1 litre of cold water.
  • For each wash, pour about 100 ml of this detergent into the detergent compartment of the washing machine.
