Description
The Coffee Machine Cleaning Powder removes even stubborn residues and guarantees a deep clean. The powder dissolves deposits of tannins, coffee fats and oils and protects the machine from premature wear and tear and bad coffee flavour. With the power of active oxygen, cleaning is particularly quick and effective, so that your favourite coffee tastes really fresh and delicious again - straight away.
The cleaning powder is suitable for all types of coffee machines: fully automatic machines, portafilters, as well as pod and capsule machines.
Application:
- Fully automatic machines with a powder compartment: Pour 5-10 g of cleaning powder into the coffee powder compartment, start the brewing process and switch the machine off for approx. 10 minutes after half a cup of water has dripped through. Then switch on again and complete the cycle. Repeat the brewing process 3 times with clear water without cleaning powder. Remove the brewing unit and rinse thoroughly. Allow 2 cups of water to run through before using again.
- Fully automatic machines without a powder compartment: Remove the brewing unit and rinse thoroughly with warm water and a sponge/brush. Completely dissolve 5-10 g of cleaning powder in hot water, pour the solution into the water tank and allow it to run through according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Portafilter machines: Pour 5-10 g of cleaning powder into the water tank and insert the portafilter with a blind filter into the brewing unit. Operate the brewing lever (or switch) for 10 seconds and repeat the process 5 times. Remove the portafilter and clean the brewing unit with a suitable brush. Now place the portafilter back into the brewing unit with the blind filter and rinse it with water 10 times for 5 seconds. Finally, wash the coffee sieve thoroughly and leave it to dry.
- Pad and capsule machines: Dissolve 5-10 g of cleaning powder completely in hot water, pour the solution into the water tank and allow the tank to run through according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Note:
- Ideal for regular cleaning to maintain flavour and machine performance.
- Do not use for descaling.
